How we build shorts kit
Shorts are specified by inseam and waistband, and both are usually got wrong. Custom team shorts from us start with the inseam the sport actually wants — shorter for running, longer for court sports — rather than one length applied across a whole catalogue.
The waistband is the failure point: a thin elastic band rolls, a bonded band does not. We use a wider bonded waistband with an internal drawcord as standard. Fabric runs from a light woven with a mesh liner to a four-way stretch knit, and sublimated side panels carry team colour down the leg.

- What makes your shorts kit different from decorated blanks?
- The waistband is the failure point: a thin elastic band rolls, a bonded band does not. We use a wider bonded waistband with an internal drawcord as standard. A decorated blank cannot change any of that — you get the cut and the fabric the blank came in, with a logo applied on top.

- Yes. We match from a Pantone reference rather than eyeballing it, and hold that reference across every piece in the order — jerseys, shorts, caps and bags — so the programme reads as one thing instead of five near-misses.
- What is the minimum order for custom shorts kit?
- Orders run from 12 pieces to 5,000, and the construction does not change with the count. Individual pieces carry their own minimum, which is listed on each one. Over 50 pieces we make a physical sample before the run starts.
- How do I get a shorts mockup?
- Send your crest, your colours and a rough count. A designer draws your kit and emails it back within 24 hours — free, with nothing signed. Revise it as many times as you like; nothing goes into production until you say yes.
